Friendship in
|
When we first meet Hugo he's alone and lonely, with no friends or family to care for him, love him, or support him. When Hugo finally meets Isabelle, who could potentially be his friend, they get off to a rocky start. They are both in need of a friend, but there is just too much drama and mayhem for them to even try and get along! As the novel progresses, however, they develop a strong bond and friendship as they try to unlock the truth about the automaton and Papa Georges! By the end of the novel, the friends Hugo makes become family!
The importance of friendship becomes one of the key themes that is explored in the The Invention of Hugo Cabret. |
